Results of the First Working period: 31 December 2001 – 28 February 2002


 
10:00  The co-ordinator: Presentation of the Report of the first working period.
Results of the exchange of experiences. Preliminar comparison and evaluation of ReGreen local experiences. Draft of best practices assessment
10.30 Partners expose final local contributions with descriptions of existing and runned experiences (paper and oral presentations).  Contributions focusing on technical, social, botanic and financing aspects as follows:.
  • Exemplary studies for historical recognition of the public heritage concerned
  • Innovative technologies for Greenhouses refurbishment concerning iron and glazed components and techniques
  • Energy best management for Greenhouses
  • Compactible destinations for Historical Gardens and Greenhouses self incoming for maintenance and management
  • Botanic educational activities for young people
  • Elder people involvement
  • New architecture for Greenhouses and for interiors
 
During the meeting a Poster exhibition on the heritages concerned will be performed (one poster 0.70 x 1.00 m, for each partner and project).

Results of the first stage of the Second Working period: 1 March 2002 12 April 2002
Each partner presents the first steps of the running ReGreen feasibility studies.  (Complete final presentations of feasibility studies are foreseen for the Girona meeting on the 10th May 2002)
